At the ship-repair plant no.35 at Murmansk it is continued ballasting of the Off-shore Ice-Resistant Fixed Platform «Prirazlomnaya». Cementing is carried out by the contract company «Hermes».
This company operates two mobile modern enterprises for cement manufacture, necessary technique and materials. More than 1000 cubic meters are loaded at a day. It is planned, that ballasting will be carried out for one and half of the month.
Cement is delivered by the railway, some of it is stored for the unforeseen case. The mass is manufactured automatically.
“ We check up cement constantly , – Deputy Director General of Sevmash, Chief of marine technique production and civil shipbuilding Valery Borodin commented. – In the whole volume of works is increased, first of all, electric-assembly and assembly works. But locksmiths-assemblers, fitters, welders and electric-assemblers are need for us “.
