In association with the lease round announced by the Australian Government in mid April, Spectrum announced additions to the comprehensive multi-client library on the North West Shelf.
Exmouth 11 – Approximately 4,000km of reprocessed data covering open blocks. The data is compatible with earlier Exmouth surveys and is processed through PSTM. The processing has been completed and the data will be available from end of May ahead of the blocks closing in October 2011.
Ashmore 11 – A 2,900km survey of reprocessed data covering open blocks. The data is processed through PSTM. The processing is now available with the licensing of the blocks closing in October 2011.
Beagle Deep – A 7,000km reprocessing project, covering open acreage adjacent to oil producing blocks. The data is being processed through PSTM and will be completed during Q3. There has been significant industry interest in this survey and the licensing round closes in April 2012.
Outer Browse – A 8,400km reprocessing project, covering open acreage. This is an extension of the Spectrums existing Browse data set. The data is being processed through PSTM. There has been significant industry interest in this survey and the licensing round closes in April 2012.
These new additions total over 22,300km and bring the total volume of Spectrum’s North West Shelf library to 200,000 km 2D and 34,000 km sq 3D making it the largest regional source of processed seismic data available.
