InterMoor Wins Contract for Works on Papa Terra Project (Brazil)

InterMoor, an Acteon company, has been awarded a contract for the installation of the drilling and production conductors for the Papa Terra project, that has Petrobras as Operator and Chevron as Non-Operator, announced InterMoor President Tom Fulton.

InterMoor is going to be responsible for the design, procurement, fabrication and installation of 15 conductors for the project. All 15 conductors are 36 inches in diameter.

InterMoor is going to fabricate all the conductors at its new 24-acre Morgan City, La., facility. The conductors are going to be installed in water depths up to 3,937 ft (1,200 m) off the coast of Brazil in the southern Campos Basin. The installation is scheduled to begin in the 4th quarter of 2011 utilizing DOF Subsea’s Construction Anchor Handling Vessel Skandi Skolten under charter to InterMoor.
