On May 30, 2011, HVS celebrated the naming ceremony for Hull No. S008 / 56K Bulk Carrier to be named “E.R. BERN”, the 8th ship in the series of 11 ships ordered by E. R. Schiffahrt (Germany) and 4th new building delivery from HVS in this year.
Attending the ceremony, there are not only HVS BOD, representatives of ship owners, class, HVS Guests but also the presents of Mr. Le Thanh Quang – Secretary of Khanh Hoa Communist Party and especially his wife – Mrs. Ngo Thi Thanh Canh acting successfully as the Sponsor.
Next day, at 13:00 on May 31, 2011, HVS carry out to celebrate the delivery signing ceremony at the reception room of main office building for “E. R. BERN”. On behalf of shipyard, Mr. C.W. Song, president of HVS and Owner’s representative, Mr. Joha Marinus Huisman, Senior Director of E. R. Schiffahrt have signed the delivery documents and exchange their happiness of successful on time delivery.
“E. R. BERN” will be scheduled to sail out on evening of 31 May, 2011 for her 1st voyage to China.
