RBG’s Azerbaijan operation has won the ‘Best Supplier’ award for 2010 from BP’s Azerbaijan Business Unit.
This is the first year that this honour has been awarded, to mark suppliers compliance to BP’s contractual terms.
Zaur Ahmadov , Compliance & Audit Manager said: “ BP’s compliance and audit team scored all of their 2010 audited suppliers against a 20 point criteria. RBG’s score proved them to be the most compliant and we thank them for their transparency and responsiveness during the audit process.”
RBG’s Azerbaijan Country Manager, Rod Fraser, said: “ We are extremely proud to have been recognised by our primary client in Azerbaijan in such a manner. This achievement marks a milestone in our drive for absolute compliance to BP’s standards and justifies RBG’s investment in staff and support systems. With our nationalisation programme targeted to reach 92% local content in 2012, our Azerbaijani employees’ level of competency and professionalism is the defining factor in the success of this collaboration with BP.”
RBG will celebrate their 15th anniversary in Azerbaijan in 2012 and have been BP’s fabric maintenance contract holder since 2003. They are also a past winner of BP’s ‘Employer of the Year’ award.
