L&N have appointed Jason Craig as their new Welding Engineer and launch new Welding Development Services.
Jason has spent the past ten years employed by a local metallurgy laboratory having spent the past 5 years in the position of Welding Services Manager.
Jason will now be responsible for developing and overseeing L&N’s new Welding Development Services including:
• Weld procedure and welder qualification services to support businesses and individuals in complying with project specifications.
• Preparation of Weld procedure and welder qualification documentation.
• Technical review of designs and specifications at enquiry stage to identify potential weld procedure and welder qualification requirements.
• Weld procedure and welder qualification management and co-ordination.
L&N Scotland’s Operations Director, Craig Finnie , states ‘ The appointment of Jason coupled with the investment in new equipment is part of an overall strategy to compliment and expand our existing skills knowledge and client base’.
