Oceaneering has now installed the 100th High Definition (HD) video system in the company’s Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) fleet.

The Oceaneering HD ROV video package, designed and manufactured by company subsidiary Deep Sea Systems International Inc. (DSSI), is a broadcast quality system rated to 4000 meter water depth. The camera features a wide angle lens, which enables operators to see their ROV manipulators and the entire work site without panning.

Oceaneering is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on deepwater applications. Through the use of its applied technology expertise, Oceaneering also serves the defense and aerospace industries. Oceaneering’s business offerings include remotely operated vehicles, mobile offshore production systems, built-to- order specialty subsea hardware, engineering and project management, subsea intervention and installation services, non-destructive testing and inspections, and manned diving.
