Iran: Daily Gas Reception Capacity May Reach 300 Million Cubic Meters

The potential of gas reception would reach 300 million cubic meters per day from South Pars gas fields, managing director of the South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC), Ali Akbar Shabanpour announced.

According to the report of the public relations of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the expected gas reception will become possible if gas injection to the country’s oil fields increase.

He went on to say that, the daily gas reception from South Pars has reached 280 million cubic meters -192 million cubic meters of which are pumped into national gas network.

He said that eight gas refineries would become operational once Phases 15, 16, 17 and 18 of South Pars come on-stream.
