Pace Global Energy Services has named Pravas Sud as Director, LNG Services.

Mr. Sud, who will be located in Pace Global’s Houston office, has over 10 years of executive-level experience in the U.S., Asia, and European markets. His expertise ranges from business development, global supply chain/logistics, and risk management to LNG negotiation/arbitrage/trading and natural gas origination.

Jim Diemer, Managing Director & Executive Vice President of Pace Global and head of the Houston office , commented, “ We are excited to have Pravas join Pace Global. His experience will enhance our global business activities pertaining to the development and operational support of upstream natural gas and LNG projects. Pravas’ international network is extensive and we fully expect to leverage these relationships to enhance our international presence .”

Mr. Sud previously worked at Energy Finance and LNG Commercial Development, Repsol YPF, Enron, UPS, and The Hyundai Group of South Korea. His past projects include negotiating commercial and tariff issues for the development of international energy infrastructure projects, managing the technical aspects of an offshore production platform project, leading LNG origination initiatives including origination, structuring, valuation, and closing of structured energy transactions for 1 Bcf/day of LNG & natural gas, and developing economic valuation & marketing models to maximize revenue for a re-gasification terminal.

In his new role at Pace Global, Mr. Sud will be working with energy, utility, and industrial clients worldwide on upstream natural gas and LNG projects.
