A&P Group has appointed Paul Weston to the newly created role of Marine Renewable Projects Manager. Paul will be based at the company’s Falmouth site.

Paul has over 30 years of experience in the Marine sector and has worked at A&P in various roles and served an apprenticeship at Falmouth.

Paul will focus on business development in the renewable energy sector, encompassing wave, tidal and offshore wind projects. He will work with companies from within the sector to offer advice and support on the development and production of devices.

A&P Group already work with a variety of renewable energy businesses and were involved in the Wave Hub project in Falmouth. A&P Group also works with the PRIMare (Peninsula Research Institute for Marine Renewable Energy) and more recently have embarked on collaborative partnerships with Ocean Power Technologies and Offshore Wave Energy Ltd to work on the research and development of their respective wave device technology and engineering.
