Pipe laying operations at the South Pars gas field phases 15 and 16 is near completion, the manager of the SP phases 15 and 16, Abolqasem Noubakhti said.
He went on to say that, pipe laying of the phase 16 with 115 kilometers length have been completed while the work in phase 15 is going on with high speed, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.
Pipe laying of the South Pars gas field phase 15 is also estimated to be finished in next four days, Noubakhti told.
The two phases construction have progressed by 74 percent on average and it is projected onshore sector of the project including its gas processing plant to come on line in December this year.
Meanwhile drilling operations of the mentioned phases have progressed by 67.8 percent.
At the moment 51 thousand meters out of 92 thousand meters of drilling operations are complete.
