LNG Tanker Energy Horizon Due in Darwin September 10 (Australia)

The largest ever ship is scheduled to visit Darwin Harbour 10 September 2011 on its maiden voyage. The largest ever ship is scheduled to visit Darwin Harbour 10 September 2011 on its maiden voyage.

The Energy Horizon, operated by the Tokyo Gas Group, has very impressive stats at over 300 metres long and 52 metres wide; she is over 10 metres longer and 3 metres wider than the Gas Ships that frequently visit Darwin Harbour for Conoco Phillips export LNG.

The Energy Horizon will be visible in Darwin Harbour from around 0600 am on Saturday 10 September and will re-visit the Port of Darwin again on 30 September 2011.
