Spill Station Australia has been awarded a significant contract in supplying emergency safety showers and eyewash units for the Gladstone LNG Project.

The emergency safety showers are fully compliant and provide cool flushing water for over 15 minutes. The shower tanks are designed to function in extreme heat conditions and in location with no available mains water supply.

Specifically for the Gladstone LNG Project, the safety showers are fitted with intrinsically safe proximity switches and lighting, which fulfil contract requirements. The contract also includes providing various safety shower models, including self-contained tank showers.

“ From the feedback received from the awarding company, it was the high quality of the shower and in particular the Hughes valve that won the business. It is this quality engineering that translates to value for money ,” says Nathan Cartwright, Spill Station Australia’s Managing Director .

Spill Station Australia also supplies a range of emergency and safety products to the mining and exploration industries, including spill response kits and portable bunding solutions.
