Per Hatlem has been appointed CEO of Apply ASA, following Per Bjørn Habbestad.

Apply has over the last few years gained an attractive position in some of the fastest growing segments within the oil and gas industry. The company has about 2,000 employees and is targeting its business towards the activities at the Norwegian Continental Shelf, onshore and in selected international markets.

Apply includes five business areas; MMO & EPCI, Living Quarters & Assembly, Subsea, Systems & Products and Solutions & Services, of which the two first-mentioned are the largest.

“ I was appointed to establish Apply as a group and to develop the company towards a stock exchange listing. This work has been accomplished, although the disturbances in the financial markets resulted in a postponement of the planned listing in June ,” says Per Bjørn Habbestad.

“ Apply has gone through an extensive development and and reached important strategic milestones under the leadership of Habbestad. This includes entering into frame agreements with Statoil and BP, as well as reached a larger international footprint. This work will be important in the further development and growth of the Apply Group,” says Chairman of Apply, Christian Brinch.

Per Hatlem (57), Partner Industry in HitecVision, will assume the position as CEO in Apply ASA. Hatlem has extensive experience from the oil industry and as manager and CEO in local and international companies.
