SPT Offshore installed 9 Suction piles for Bibby Offshore for Ithaca Athena FPSO mooring.
For Bibby Offshore, SPT installed nine (9) suction piles of OD 5.5-6.5m x 10-11m deep. The suction piles will be used to moor the Ithaca Athena FPSO in 140m water depth.
SPT’s strong SAPS-004 suction pump was used. Actual suction time was only 30 minutes per suction pile.
The SAPS-004 suction pump was docked subsea using the ROV. Release was also accomplished following installation by remotely control and monitored by ROV.
