Norway: Cetix Wins Contract for Delivery of ROV-Winches to IKM Subsea

Cetix AS in Stavanger, Norway has been awarded a contract by IKM Subsea AS for delivery of two active heave compensated work class ROV-winches.

Cetix AS has already an established track record as a supplier for IMR and ROV vessels. The scope includes engineering, design, manufacturing and testing of one standard Waverunner™ 13R winch and one Ex-rated Waverunner™ 13R.

IKM Subsea is experiencing strong international growth and recently opened up a new office in Singapore. Cetix AS is proud to be part of IKM Subsea international success. “ This confirms Cetix AS position as a strong and price competitive company for the business segment of electrical driven umbilical reels and winches in competition against large international suppliers” says Ragnar Sach, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Cetix.

The contract, with options, has a multiple MNOK value and will be completed within 1st quarter of 2012.
