All the phases of the South Pars gas field will come on line by October 2015, managing director of the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Mousa Souri said here.

He went on to say that according to a plan drawn up by the company, every six months one of the phases of the South Pars would come on stream, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.

He noted that to fulfill the target, around $15 billion should be invested in SP’s phases each year.

“By launching SP’s phases 15 and 16 processing plants, Iran’s gas production would rise by 30 million cubic meters per day this year”, he stated.

He said that South Pars gas field phase 11 would be the final SP’s phase that is set to come on line in 2015.
