Bibby Remote Intervention Limited, a subsidiary company of Aberdeen-based subsea construction and IRM firm, Bibby Offshore, has announced the appointment of Mike Arnold.

Mike will take up the post of Managing Director of Bibby Offshore’s new subsidiary, Bibby Remote Intervention Limited but will also take up a position on the main board of Bibby Offshore Holdings Limited. Mike brings with him extensive oil and gas knowledge with 28 years experience in the subsea construction industry.

Most recently, Mike was Managing Director of Hallin Marine Western Division prior to working at Hallin Marine, Mike founded and successfully built specialist ROV Contractor, ROVTECH, which has since been acquired by Fugro and has been a well known leader in the ROV industry for many years.

Commenting, Bibby Offshore Holdings Chief Executive, Howard Woodcock , said: “ Mike’s extensive experience and impressive track record will be an invaluable resource for the company; he is ideally placed to take on this role”spacer

Bibby Offshore will deploy its state-of-the-art dive support vessel (DSV) Bibby Topaz to undertake all construction related works. The company will also deploy a high specification construction support vessel (CSV) and a dedicated trenching vessel to undertake various other scopes of work. Bibby Offshore’s Aberdeen based project management team will also undertake all ancillary services in support of this project.

Established in 2003, Bibby Offshore has engineering and office facilities in Aberdeen, Trinidad and Singapore.
