Leading chemical company BASF recently appointed subsea experts Jee for staff training. A fast-track, workshop style course was commissioned in order to get new BASF starters up to speed in the oil and gas industry.

Jee is well-known for their high-quality courses which teach engineers the technicalities of subsea pipelines and systems. This 3 day bespoke course introduced new BASF sales people and chemical engineers to the oil industry.

It showed delegates the key players and steered them through the fundamentals of subsea pipeline engineering. Attendees travelled to the UK course from as far a field as South Africa and Brazil.

Jee facilitated learning, networking and team building to encourage sharing ideas and experiences. A combination of technical expertise and industry knowledge from course tutor, Jonathan Franklin, meant he was quickly able to help delegates understand where BASF products may work well in harsh environments.

BASF Business Development Manager Ian Lynam said; “ For BASF, training really is the key to ensuring our staff have the knowledge needed to support clients and move the business forward. This course was an excellent introduction for our business development team; they have been able to put their new skills into practise immediately.”
