ProEight Offshore Engineering Sdn Bhd plans to establish German subsidiary for the purpose of exporting its mechanical seals to the Middle East market.
The managing director of the company , Ir Azhar Zainal Abidin , explained that the actual parts will be manufactured in Malaysia but testings and finishing will be conducted by its German subsidiary.
“We chose Germany because most of the products made in Germany are acceptable to most Middle East people,” he told Bernama.
ProEight, this year’s winner of Petronas’ Most Promising Vendor award plans to become one of the leading manufacturers of mechanical seals to the oil and gas sector within the next ten years.
