Reservoir Exploration Technology ASA (RXT), a multi-component seismic company has been awarded a contract with Afren Energy Services Ltd for acquisition of four component (4C) seismic data in West Africa.

Start up of the project will be end November and the survey is estimated to take 26 days. The contract value is up to USD 3.5 million and the work will be done by the vessel Vikland.

Afren, a UK based, independent exploration & production company focused on Africa owns assets in Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria and São Tomé & Príncipe JDZ, Congo Brazzaville and South Africa, East African opportunities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Seychelles, Tanzania.
