Recently, Jinhai Heavy Industry has obtained RMB 1.2 million of special funds from Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance and Finance Bureau of Zhoushan, for the subsidy of projects named “Design and Innovation of 320,000 DWT VLCC” and “D&R of VLCC Ultra-Large Blocks Construction”.
As the industrial leading key and provincial high-tech enterprise in Zhejiang Province, Jinhai Heavy Industry has gained many technical achievements since awarded as the “Zhejiang Provincial Technical Center” in 2010 through speeding up the pace of technical R&D, and innovation.
The project of “Design and Innovation of 320,000 DWT VLCC”, on behalf of all the projects in technical center, wins the affirmation and support from the government and organizations in charge of industry, as well as the special funds from Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance.
As for the project of “D&R of VLCC Ultra-Large Blocks Construction”, it highlights the construction technology and is greatly meaningful for further promoting the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
The special funds demonstrated Jinhai’s technical strength and the ability to research, develop and innovate, playing a positive role in strengthening R&D and innovation, promoting enterprise competitiveness, and creating a global shipbuilding enterprise.
