Shell Halts Production from EA Field Offshore Nigeria

Shell has halted production from its EA offshore field in Nigeria on November 9. The field, located offshore Nigeria’s southern Bayelsa State is expected to remain shut for several weeks. Shell has halted production from its EA offshore field in Nigeria on November 9. The field, located offshore Nigeria’s southern Bayelsa State is expected to remain shut for several weeks.

Shell spokesperson informed Reuters that the company shut down the FPSO, and halted production as a part of planned maintenance.

EA Oil field can produce 115,000 barrels of oil per day.
