MEO Australia Limited advises that it’s wholly owned subsidiary Seruway Offshore Exploration Limited (“SOEL”) as operator for the Seruway PSC, has commenced the acquisition of the 705 km2 3D seismic data over the Ibu Horst area.
SOEL holds a 100% interest in the PSC. The PGS seismic vessel MA/ Pacific Explorer has completed the safe deployment of 8 streamers and has commenced field data acquisition.
The program is expected to be completed in 30 days.
The acquisition of this 3D survey will fulfil the 2011 work program commitment and is expected to generate several drillable prospects as potential candidates for the commitment well due by the end of 2012.
