Bruno R. Umbro Jr. CFCM, has joined Hydroid, Inc., a Pocasset-based manufacturer of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), as Contracts Manager and Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO).
Umbro brings 15 years of government contracting experience, including positions with Foster Wheeler, ECC and NEIE, along with three years of private consulting, both government and commercial.
Umbro is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
Hydroid was founded in 2001 by the inventors of REMUS to allow this remarkable technology to reach a wider market and to provide for continuous product development. REMUS is the product of over 15 years of leading edge research and development, which has culminated in the world’s most capable and reliable compact AUV.
