SGS, a Swiss based global provider of technical inspection, verification, testing and conformity assessment services for industrial markets has acquired Innovative Technical Services (“InTech”)

InTech is a privately held engineering and consulting firm specializing in production allocation modelling to the oil and gas industries. InTech’s head office is located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Founded in 2001 and located in New Orleans and Houston, Intech employs 19 full-time staff and have revenues in excess of USD 3 million.

“Intech provide valuable services to the upstream oil and gas industry. This is a sector and field that SGS wants to be a part of and fits exceptionally well into our strategy and vision” , says Chris Kirk, CEO of SGS.
