Fugro Brasil Signs Contract for ROV Support Vessel

Fugro Brasil has signed a contract with Wilson Sons to build a DP-2 ROV Support Vessel in Brazil. The vessel´s total length is 83 meter with a main deck space of 520 square meter, gross tonnage of 4,400 ton, and accommodation for in total 60 persons. Fugro Brasil has signed a contract with Wilson Sons to build a DP-2 ROV Support Vessel in Brazil. The vessel´s total length is 83 meter with a main deck space of 520 square meter, gross tonnage of 4,400 ton, and accommodation for in total 60 persons.

The vessel will be built at Wilson Sons´ shipyard in Guarujá in São Paulo State. The vessel meets all operational requirements of the Brazilian market, will be classified under Lloyd´s Register and be Brazilian flag.

The vessel delivery is scheduled for February 2014.This investment reflects Fugro´s strong commitment to sustainable growth of its operations in the Brazilian market and delivers a high local content to clients.
