Brazil: STX OSV Launches New PSV for Deep Sea Supply

Deep Sea Supply announces that its newbuilding was launched Monday 14 November 2011 at STX OSV Niterol in Brazil.

Godmother, Maria Chambriard, all employees of Deep Sea Supply’s Brazil office including spouses and children, colleagues from Singapore and Norway and invited guests from Brazilian shipping and offshore community attended the ceremony.

Following speeches from Miro A. Filho (President STX OSV), Finn Amund Norbye, Dante Carvalho and the Godmother and a blessing from the priest, the champagne bottle hit the vessel and she was launched accompanied with fireworks and balloons.

Vessel named ‘Sea Brasil’ is STX 09 CD design PSV and has accommodation capacity for 26 persons.
