2H Offshore Names Alex Rimmer as Additional Director of London Office (UK)

2H Offshore, an Acteon company, announces the appointment of Alex Rimmer as an additional Director of it’s London office. Alex joined 2H in 2004 and has worked in a number of managerial positions in the company, most recently as Engineering Team Leader. In his new role, Alex will oversee engineering

2H Offshore, an Acteon company, announces the appointment of Alex Rimmer as an additional Director of it’s London office. Alex joined 2H in 2004 and has worked in a number of managerial positions in the company, most recently as Engineering Team Leader. In his new role, Alex will oversee engineering operations in the London office with support from the existing management team.

Alex has significant experience in the design and analysis of drilling and production systems for both deepwater and shallow water developments, most notably as Lead Engineer on the analysis scope for BP’s Block 31 PSVM development. From 2008 he was also responsible for the integration of UWG’s shallow water riser and conductor engineering team and business into 2H Offshore.

“2H already has a strong management and engineering team,” comments Alex , “but I am extremely proud to take on the role of Director in the UK and I will do my utmost to deliver on 2H’s vision and values.”
