Bremerhaven has been internationally recognized as offshore wind energy center.

This year BIS has welcomed 25 foreign delegations seeking information about that site.

It has been confirmed that Bremerhaven plays great role in international wind energy market.

Well-known companies such as REpower Systems SE, Weser Wind GmbH, AREVA Traders and PowerBlades GmbH have established themselves there and the first offshore wind farm has been built from Bremerhaven.

On December 14, these facts were presented to the Japanese delegation. This proves that Bremerhaven is one step ahead in offshore wind industry.

This visit has opened ways for better cooperation between these two countries, as well as business opportunities in offshore wind industry.
