Petrobras International Director, Jorge Luiz Zelada, on Tuesday (20th), at the Petrobras main office in Rio de Janeiro that production of Cascade and Chinook, in the Gulf of Mexico is scheduled to begin in January.
The Cascade and Chinook fields are located in the Walker Ridge area of the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 300 km (180 miles) south of the Louisiana coast, in water depth 2,590 m (8,500 ft).
Zelada also mentioned the seven Petrobras exploration blocks in Portugal in association with Galp and Partex. “We are the Interpretation of seismic data acquired phase. We anticipate drilling next year,” he concluded.
