Petrobras announces the cancelation of the bidding process to hire the services and charter of 21 drilling rigs to be built in Brazil.

Petrobras will immediately start negotiations with the two companies, Ocean Rig do Brasil Ltda and Sete Brasil Participações S.A., with the goal of getting better contract conditions.

Petrobras received on October 3, the bid proposals for the hiring of services and chartering of 21 offshore drilling rigs to be built in Brazil. The units will be used in the Company’s exploration and production development activities.
