This week, the LNG Guardian, built by Gondan Shipyard for the Italian Owner Fratelli Neri, has finished the trials period. During the past days, the LNG Guardian has set sail from the Yard facilities in Figueras as well as from El Musel, Port of Gijon.

These days’ aspects such as the speed or the bollard pull of the LNG Guardian have been tested. It has been checked as well that each system, technical requirements and devices work properly, not only for the Owner, the Classification Society and the Administration, but also for the Shipyard itself. The final results have been perfect and every trial has been satisfactory. The delivery will be made in January.

The LNG Guardian will be in charge of guarding and supporting a marine gas facility near the Italian Port of Livorno.
