INPEX CORPORATION announced that its Annual Report 2011 was awarded the Grand Prize under the 14th NIKKEI Annual Report Awards sponsored by the Japanese leading news media, The NIKKEI.
The NIKKEI Annual Report Awards have been held every year since 1998, with the aim of enhancing the contents quality as well as facilitating widespread dissemination. For the 14th Awards, a panel of judges consisting of fund managers and securities analysts nominated “the Grand Prize” for a single company, “the Prize for Excellence” for two companies and “the Regular Prize” for seven companies, among 66 nominated companies.
The Report includes the main message “A Firm Commitment to Sustainable Energy” (this means a firm commitment to continue to contribute to the creation of affluent societies by realizing stable and efficient supplies of energy). In The Report, INPEX emphasizes this message by presenting its corporate and operating information, the company’s major LNG projects introduction, the market environment and forecasts, and INPEX’s strengths and medium- to long-term strategy.
The Report received a high evaluation by the panel of judges citing “ A high-quality report with visibility, with lots of useful information and with high degree of completeness. It clearly conveys the company message in detail and in a well organized manner. ”
