OOCL announces that it has been recognized and awarded by one of their major customers in the United States, the Scoular Company, for their operational excellence in providing the best customer-centric services amongst all the other major carriers.
The award was presented to OOCL at an Agriculture Transportation Coalition workshop held in Minneapolis, USA, on December 12, 2011, by Mr. Doug Grennan, Senior Manager of Scoular Company’s International Container Trade Group.
On presenting the award to OOCL, Mr. Grennan said, “Based on all the criteria we used to evaluate the performance of the carriers, OOCL’s superior performance in all the areas has out-scored over 15 of its competitors under our evaluation. It is an honor to partner with OOCL and to present this award to recognize its operational excellence and effort to understand our business needs.”
In acknowledgement to the commendation, Mr. Edward Zaninelli, Vice President, Trans-Pacific Westbound Trade of OOCL said: “We are honored and proud to be of service to the Scoular Company. We will continue to excel in providing more high quality services to help Scoular transport its products to their markets in the most efficient and customer-centric way.
