Denmark: MPI Discovery Arrives at Port of Esbjerg to Load Wind Turbines

On 25 December MPI Discovery arrived at the Port of Esbjerg, where it will load wind turbines for the World’s largest offshore wind farm – London Array.

Blue Water Shipping is agent on behalf of MPI Offshore, and Blue Water Shipping is responsible for the loading of the wind turbines for London Array – all together 175 turbines over the next years.

“This is the vessels first assignment, and Esbjerg is the first port call related to operation. We are proud to be part of this project, and the arrival of MPI Discovery marks a new era for the next generation of wind turbine installation vessels,” says Jacob Kjærgaard, business development manager at Blue Water Shipping .
