Russia: VFT Signs USD 138 Million Financing Agreement for 10 Tanker Vessels

The company Volga Fleet Tanker, part of UCL Holding, recently signed an agreement with OAO Gazprombank to attract long-term financing of $ 138 million in funds that will be used for construction of 10 tankers of RST 27 project at the production facilities of JSC Oka shipyard.

Tankers product carriers of “river-sea” are intended to transport oil and petroleum products, and can carry two grades of cargo simultaneously. Transfer of vessels to the customer is scheduled for 2012-2014,.

Construction is carried out as part of the fleet renewal program VBTH, which, inter alia, envisages construction of 20 ships in the Russian project RST27 shipyards.
