China: Reignwood Takes Delivery of New Jack-up Rig from CIMC Raffles

On the morning of Dec. 29th, 2011, CIMC Raffles delivered a Jack-up drilling rig the MASTER DRILLER to the Reignwood International Investment (Group) Company Limited.

The basic design of MASTER DRILLER is supplied by the Friede&Goldman of the U.S.A., while CIMC Raffles independently finished all the detail design and shop design, with the Intellectual Property Right of engineering and construction for Jacking-up legs.

The MASTER DRILLER is with the length of 59.745meters, width of 55.78meters, and depth of 7. 62meters; the working depth of 90meters, drilling depth of 9144meters, the variable deck load of 4080tons, design working personnel of 110; the leg length of 125meters, and classed by ABS

The main hull of MASTER DRILLER is built in Haiyang CIMC Raffles, and then the general assembly and commissioning were finished in Yantai yard.

The MASTER DRILLER will serve in the Mexico Sea area after delivery.
