On December 30, 2011, the fourth 57.000 DWT bulk carrier “Bi Jia Shan” for China Shipping (H.K.) Holdings Co., Ltd.(CSHK) built by China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu shipyard) Co. Ltd. was successfully named and delivered at No. 2 outfitting pier in Sanjiangying shipbuilding base.
The ceremony was hosted by Mr.Chen Junhua. Mr.Wang Yiling who delivered welcome address speech. Deputy general manager Fang Fang made a speech on behalf of CSHK. Mr. Zhou Xiaokang, Mr. Zhang Yibing, Mr. Chen Yan, Mr. Yin Zhongyuan, Mr. Xue Chaochun, Mr. Li Endong and Mr. Huang Xuelin jointly cut the ribbon for naming and delivery of the new ship. The honored guest Madam Zhu Guoying named the vessel and conducted the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle.Mr. Zhang Yibing and Mr. Chen Yan exchanged delivery certificates with each other. Mr. Wang Yiling gave the ship model of “Bi Jia Shan” as the gift to captain Wu Xionglong.
Leaders of relevant departments and offices concerned of CSHK. Shanghai Wei Ma Group, CSIT. CSIC and the general headquarters of CIC. together with staff of Jiangsu Company in total of over 300 persons attended the ceremony.
The new ship is the 24th completed by CIC Jiangsu this year, which also marked well completion of the whole year’s shipbuilding tasks of CIC Jiangsu, the shipyard completed total of 7 new ships of different types since December and broke the monthly production record from the foundation of the company.
