Jinhai Delivers first VLCC to Norwegian Shipowner

Jinhai Heavy Industry has completed the construction of the VLCC designed to consume less bunker fuel for higher energy efficiency. Jinhai Heavy Industry has completed the construction of the VLCC designed to consume less bunker fuel for higher energy efficiency.

Chinese shipbuilder’s first 320,000 dwt VLCC will be delivered to a Norwegian shipowner.

The shipyard has been given further seven orders for the similar-sized oil tanker. Four of them are currently undergoing construction and they are due to be delivered in the second half of this year.

Jinhai has already delivered bulk carriers of 57,000-180,000 dwt and containerships of 2,000 teu.
