Marin Teknikk AS has signed an agreement with Shinan Heavy Ind. Co., Ltd. in Korea for design and engineering of the company’s new PSV vessel.
The vessel is a Multipurpose Field Supply Vessel & Pipe carrier of MT6015 PSV design, with diesel electric frequency controlled propulsion, highly efficient azimuth thrusters and a dynamic positioning system, DP II. The vessel has a large under deck tank capacity.
The vessel has a length of 93.8 meters and a breadth of 20 meters, with accommodation for 25 persons. The cargo deck area is of 1060 sq.m., and have possibilities for carrying 5 pipe lengths.
The vessel is planned to be delivered in first quarter of 2013.
