Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of 04 Indian fishermen on 09th January 2012.
The fishermen and their fishing trawler bearing the registration number TN/10/MFB/168 were handed over to the Indian Coast Guard Ship Vajra in the seas off Delft. Sri Lanka Naval Ship Ranadheera, assisted the mission.
The four Indian fishermen were rescued by the Navy in Sri Lankan waters where their trawlers had developed mechanical problems.
