The new era is coming for offshore wind in Europe.

Investments in this industry are going to double in next ten years. It is the fastest rising industry at the moment. In 2010, approximately USD 82 billion investments in wind industry were recorded.

There is a plan to reach USD 140 billion by 2020 and up to USD 206 billion in 2030, reports Bloomberg. It is obvious that this ambitious plan will take a lot of hard work to reach its targets.

Investors are moving their funds from Southern Europe to Northern Europe, mostly to Denmark, UK, Germany and France.
