Leer. Hartmann Shipping, settled in Leer, took over its newest vessel from Severnav S.A. Shipyard, Romania.

The modern Ethylene-tanker “GASCHEM WERRA” is a sister vessel to MT “GASCHEM WARNOW”, which was already delivered in June 2010. In the year 2007 the shipping company took over four gastanker of this own developed type (e. g. MT “GASCHEM MOSEL, MT “GASCHEM RHONE”).

The MT “GASCHEM WERRA” has a deadweight capacity of 7,420 tons and is equipped with two tanks. Further the vessel is 115 meters long and has a breadth of 17 meters. The main engines generate an engine power of 4,500 kW and a speed of about 16 knots within a draught of 8.1 meters.
