London Array offshore wind farm has encountered a delay caused by shallow water and poor weather in Thames Estuary.
According to London Array project director Richard Rigg, the installation of array cables should be finished on schedule, with the aid provided by Visser & Smit and Global Marine’s vessels.
Cabling companies Global Marine and Visser & Smit Marine Contracting have utilized additional installation vessels, Sternat 82 and Sternat 87 cable storage barge Explorer to carry out cable installation work.
