China: Delivery Ceremony for Bulk Carrier ‘An Tai Shan’

On January 10th, the 18th 57.300 DWT bulk carrier “An Tai Shan” built by China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. for China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tramp. Co. was successfully named and delivered at Shanghai Changxing Island and departed from port in the afternoon.

Chief accountant Mr. Zhou Limin of CIC., deputy general manger Mr. Lin Xinhui of China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tramp. Co. and deputy secretary of the Party Committee Mr. Huang Xuelin of China Shipping International Trading Co., Ltd. jointly cut the ribbon for the new ship. Secretary of the Party Committee Mr, Zhou Shenbo of China Shipping Development Co., Ltd. Tramp. Co. in Shanghai named the vessel and conducted the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle.

The ceremony was hosted by Chen Junhua, secretary of the Party Committee of China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. The vessel is one of the 24 vessels completed by Jiangsu Company this year. Leaders of relevant departments of China Shipping Industry, China shipping development Co., Ltd. tramp. Co., China shipping development Co., Ltd. tramp. Co. in Shanghai and China Shipping International Trading Co., Ltd. together with over staff of Jiangsu Company in total of more than 100 peoples joined in the ceremonial activities.
