On Jan.14th in 2012, Jinhai Heavy Industry has delivered two 79,600DWT bulk carriers J0033 and J0034 in Zhongji Shipyard, which were the first two ships built for Zhushui Energy Resource Group.
In the morning, the ceremony for naming and delivery was held at No.1 outfitting wharf of Zhongji Shipyard. J0033 and J0034 were named “Zhushui No.3” and “Zhushui No.5”. Nearly 500 people has attended the ceremony, including top leaders and representatives from Zhuishui Energy Resource Group, Lloyd’s Register, Jinhai Heavy Industry, and crew representatives of hull No.3 and No.5, news media and cadres from Zhongji Shipyard.
It is reported that this type of ship has 229m of overall length, 32.26m of breadth, 20.25m of depth, 14.62m of designed draft, and 14.62m of scantling draft. These two ships went through the same progress of steel cutting, docking, construction, launching, sea trial and naming as well as delivery, adhering to the shipbuilding standard of PSPC.
