On the morning of 27th December 2011, the ceremony for the naming and delivery of the vessel “ZHONGHAI RONGHUA” was hold in Dalian.
She is the first vessel of the 8 series 300,000 DWT VLOC ordered by China Shipping (Group) Company (abbreviated as CSG) with dual classification of CCS & DNV, being built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd (abbreviated as DSIC). Mr. Lirong XU – General Manager of CSG and Mr. Jianqing Lin – Deputy General Manager of CSG attended the ceremony. Mrs. Yuanyang XING, the wife of Mr. Kejun LI – President of CCS, named the vessel, and snipped off the mooring rope.
Mr. Kejun LI – President of CCS, Mr. Qiang DONG – Deputy General Manger of CSIC, Mr. Handong DONG – Deputy General Manger of IETC (International Economic & Trading Corporation, WISCO), as well as leaders from China Shipping Development Co., Ltd Tramp Co., China Shipping International Trading Co., Ltd and some CSG departments such as the Enterprises Management Division, the Development Division, the Transportation Division, the Organization Division, the Executive Division, attended the ceremony of naming.
Since CSG signed the bilateral strategic partnership agreement with CCS in August 2011, the bilateral cooperation has been reinforced continuously. The successful delivery of the vessel indicates that the combination with excellent partners as CSG and CCS has embarked on a completely new stage.
