Aubin, an independent supplier of specialist chemicals to the energy industry, has announced a strategic partnership with an agent in Brazil. The partnership agreement with Nortech, which covers the provision of pipeline gels and pig gels, will assist Aubin in accessing the Brazilian market whilst complementing the range of products currently offered by Nortech.
As a distributer of products as well as a service provider Nortech aims to deliver the very latest pipeline technology to the Brazilian market. In order to achieve this the company frequently partners with industry leaders from around the globe.
Aubin managing director Paddy Collins said: “By making our products available in Brazil we will be able to offer clients a more effective service. This partnership will help to establish a local presence in the area and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to clients in this important market.”
Established in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, in 1987, Aubin today designs researches, develops, manufactures and supplies high-quality chemical technology for a wide range of energy industry applications. The company focuses strongly on research and development and has invested nearly £1million in the last four years developing patented products that address common subsea issues.
Existing products include pipeline pigging and cleaning applications while commercialisation of additional technologies for subsea applications such as insulation and pipeline commissioning is underway.
