CEFAS has announced a tender procedure for several acoustic and biological validation surveys.
This Invitation to Tender is seeking bids for the following types of work:
a) Acoustic (multibeam bathymetry/sidescan sonar) survey;
b) Acoustic (multibeam bathymetry/sidescan sonar) survey with a biological validation component;
c) Intertidal surveys;
d) Provision of offshore Client Representative services
It is proposed that the survey programme, a mixture of acoustic and biological validation surveys, will be carried out during February and March 2012 by a range of service providers from both public and private sectors.
The project should commence no later than March 01, 2012 on completion of the survey.
Market capability has been assessed via the aforementioned EOI call and appropriate providers will be identified and selected via the Invitation to Tender.
The due date for the submission of offers relating to the released tender procedure is February 01, 2012.
